Eons of stormy emissions from Ruwan have left their mark on this system.
High energy plasma released from the star is generally invisible to
the naked eye, but it has quite an effect on starship sensors. From
readings taken at varying locations along a parabolic path, plasma and
other solar emissions are estimated to be at three percent. This level
of emissions is nowhere near the interference experienced inside of
a nebula, for example, but it may cause periodic sensor flickers and
echoes for passing vessels.
