Details
Tahrik is a quiet world. Its geological processes, life
forms, and weather patterns are all less intense than ninety percent
of the equivalently sized planets on record. It is also very pleasant
-- regular wind and weather keeps the planetary temperature regulated
and stable. It is an excellent location for large-scale agriculture,
colonization, or politics. Only its mineral deposits fall short of the
mark set by all of the other factors. They have been depleted.
Specifics
In a long set of negotiations, the Klingon Empire acquired Tahrik and
the surrounding system. They have since established a thriving colony
here and a complex economy that exports large amounts of agricultural
goods to the Empire. The residents have made expert use of previously
human architecture. They have drawn from their rich culture when adapting
the buildings for Klingon use. Sprawling Federation-like transit systems
connect gigantic cathedrals and towers that are likely to be seen on
Klingon worlds. It is an awe-inspiring---and unique---sight.
