YuQ ngem is aptly named "forest world" by its Klingon controllers. Discovered early in the history of Klingon exploration, it has long been a favorite hunting location for young warriors. Life forms of every shape and size populate the surface, some of legendary ferocity. A warrior of any skill wishing to test himself against nature could come to this planet and find a suitable challenge in moments, be it a lone hunt or battles between Houses.

YuQ ngem's primary function in the Empire is agricultural. A large percentage of the supplies used to feed the Empire come from this planet. The farming operations here have been carefully designed not to interfere with the wild surroundings. Some farms lack technology altogether, either out of a desire to conserve funds that are best spent on the military or to be closer to the dangerous natural environment.
