"First officer's log, stardate 1066.27, Commander Hemenez reporting. The USS Rainier is on routine patrol in alpha minor, sector one-four mark zero-two mark one-one. All is quiet; we have at least an hour before we arrive at Starbase 116."
Hemenez held his finger over the mute button on the arm of the captain's chair and rubbed his chin. The viewscreen at the front of the bridge was in idle mode, displaying the stars streaming byas the ship slipped through space. The bridge was quiet except for the soft tones of the stations around him. With a touch of a smile, Hemenez released the mute button.
"This new vessel is an amazing feat of technology. She is the largest ship on which I have had the pleasure to serve, yet she slips effortlessly through space at a good clip. I can only dream of the challenges that we will face out here in space, but I know that the Rainier and her crew will be able to handle them with courage and valor."
Space is the heart of the TOS TrekMUSE experience, and rightly so. For almost a decade, TOS TrekMUSE has been providing the most advanced space simulation environment of its kind in the world. An attention to detail and strict development have resulted in a system that, for the first time, frees a player to experience the Star Trek experience exactly as it was meant to be expeienced.
In space, anything is possible. It's just as if you're really there.
If you are the kind of person who sees a future in the endless reaches of space, then this guide is for you. It will show you the basic principles of every emphasis in starship operations. This is only the tip of the iceberg as far as the possibilities of space, but it might just give you the edge in the future.
The space guide is broken into several parts, one for each console. For your convenience a printable version, which consolidates all the sections into one file, is available. There is also a text-only version.
